I'm expecting to have to move farther north, but climate scientists are not sure what will happen when we hit climate catastrophe. We're likely to get colder up here in the Pacific NW. We are in drought conditions but that's not irregular for our area.

We're having a normal summer so far, with temps in the 70s and 80s. No hurricanes, and few tornados but there's the subduction zone off the coast (big earthquake) and more than one volcano.
