Hey, we finally made it to Love’s a Disaster Day!
Congratulations are in order… mainly to all of you who are still around and have survived the deluge of book content.
Oh, it’s also my birthday, which is a complete coincidence (my lovely publisher Bayou Wolf Press chose the publication date). But, that does mean if you dislike the book you are ruining my birthday and I don’t know if you want that dark cloud hanging over you for the rest of your life!
Anyway, thank you to everyone who has ordered the book or offered encouragement along the way.
The rest of this newsletter contains some book-related information and tidbits including ways you can help spread the word if you are so inclined. Thanks again!
Action Plan
1. Order your copy of Love’s a Disaster!
This is obviously the most important step… the buying part. Sure, reading the book is great but buying it? That’s the good stuff. And let’s say you buy the book and never read it, then happen to run into me in real life and feel a little embarrassed, all you have to do is say something like, “My favorite part was when Caleb did that thing with the sword.” I’ll never know.
2. Leave a rating or review
Here’s one thing I’ve learned in my 40-plus years on this planet: when you rate or review a book online, there are no rules! No book rating and review cops will show up at your door and ask for proof that you thought a book was 5-star worthy or that you even read the book at all. So, with that being said, leaving a very honest (wink wink) review on Goodreads or Amazon can help attract more readers and counterbalance anyone who might hypothetically think the book is confusing or contains some shallow characters.
3. Share on social media
I mean, based on my anecdotal experience, this isn’t hugely important for book sales, so if posting isn’t your thing, I get it. But, if you do love to post, tossing out a Love’s a Disaster mention probably couldn’t hurt?
4. Make the book your entire personality
Is this too much to ask? I think Knott.

Alright, I think that’s all I’ve got. I hope you get the chance to read the book, and if you do, I hope you don’t hate it too much.
Much like love, writing is a disaster, so you never know how these things are going to go!
Yay, congrats on the double birthday!
Congratulations on your book day and happy birthday!
