I don’t have a garage, so when a storm is coming I go outside and obsessively move my truck around in the driveway, trying to decide which tree it’s safest to be near depending on prevailing winds and forecasts.
Hah! Falling apart at the first sign of humans was such a delectable analogy for Milton. Glad to hear you all fared well with the storm. We are in the northeast FL region and I was a touch nervous before this last storm -- I spent way more money then should ever be admitted to at Fresh Market on random snacks. We went to bed that night and woke up at normal time with power still on. It was an incredibly tame hurricane story to relay to the friends and family out of state that were repeatedly checking in on us. Thankfully so, but it sure didn't explain away my grocery bill.
I'm happy to hear you and your family are safe and sound. I always wonder when bad weather heads your way. I'm also happy I don't live in Florida! The natural disasters that hang around in my area, huge volcanos and earthquakes don't come around on a regular basis.
This was hilarious, despite the near-impending doom of it all. So glad you’re all safe.
Thanks Chris!
I, too, have struggled with the paperchain-painter tape relationship.
It’s a problem we all need to talk about more

That’s smart. I love it.
LOL I love that you admit this. It's something I would do, too.
The neighbors are probably watching me like, wtf is she doing? Lol
Prime neighbor entertainment right there! 😂
Right up there with dog chasing

Thank you! Glad you also fared well other than the snack attack.
Drinking your coffee plain for a week - ouch! That is painful!
I shall recover and build back stronger
Good to hear!
Glad it wasn't too bad and sorry/good thing on th trampoline!
Thanks! You win/lose some, you win/lose some.
Glad you're all safe (from the storm and the power tools)! Love the paperchain. Hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks Liz!

Thanks! That's one of many great reasons to be happy you don't live in Florida right now.
